Some people come in knowing exactly why they do what they do, but still can't stop doing it. Others just know something isn't working, but don't know why.
Both are good reasons to start.
The point is for something to actually change.
When the same argument keeps happening. When you've grown distant and aren't sure how to close the gap. When one of you is ready and the other isn't sure yet.

Strong clinical training is more than learning a set of techniques. It develops judgment: what to pay attention to, when to stay with an approach, when to change course, and what to do when the obvious approach isn't working.
Our clinicians are trained in IFS, psychodynamic therapy, EFT, Gottman Method, EMDR, and CBT. Their work is directed and informed, while adaptable to the person in front of them.
This is therapy that moves. Sessions have direction.
Four of our clinicians trained through the Program for Psychotherapy at Cambridge Health Alliance — one of the most rigorous clinical fellowships in the greater Boston area.
If the first session makes clear we're not the right fit, whether that is your call or ours, we don't charge for it. The relationship has to work before the work can.
